The idea of The Measuring Post originated from a 2x4 that was in my parents' basement while we were growing up. We used that 2x4 to mark our height each year to keep track of our growth. It sparked the idea in me that we always track our quantitative characteristics, like age, height, weight, money, etc., but we never track our qualitative characteristics, our maturity, and our ability to become better versions of ourselves, which are far more important.

 

This podcast and newsletter are meant to challenge you to apply the lessons learned to your own life, fostering personal growth and self-improvement.
